I am Noelia Correa, an Argentinian-Spanish visual artist based in Alicante, Spain, for almost 25 years, with a degree in Fine Arts and over two decades of experience.
My work explores two complementary paths: abstract landscapes inspired by the serenity of the Mediterranean, and energetic compositions where color and movement take center stage. I paint with acrylics and mixed media, using tools such as palette knives, sponges, and collage. Through layers, textures, drippings, and reliefs, I build a dialogue between gesture and matter.
Sometimes, my palette leans into soft tones and transparencies, evoking ethereal atmospheres and distant horizons; other times, I explore contrast and the vibrant intensity of color and form. In both cases, my aim is to express emotion through painting, allowing each piece to breathe with its own identity.
Each canvas is part of an ongoing process of exploration—an evolving search for balance, light, and meaning.
